>> Weingut Stigler Ihringen am Kaiserstuhl <<
The sunniest place
The Emperor’s chair is one of the top vine growing regions of Germany, situated in the south-east corner of Germany in the Rhine plain, facing on one side the Black Forest and at the other the Vosges. Here in the path of warm airstreams that originate in Burgundy lie the southern most slopes of the Kaiserstuhl. The largest (ca. 6 ha/15 acres) and most important holdings of Stigler’s estate are in the Ihringer Winklerberg, – the basis of the estate’s reputation.
